Hillcrest lodge is situated at the top of a hill, overlooking Lake Amistad and the mountains of Mexico. This magnificent setting is located in the center of all the fishing action on Lake Amistad which has been rated the #1 bass fishing lake in the world by Bassing Magazine.

The lodge has been restored with anglers in mind. Our aim is to make your fishing experience here as comfortable and convenient as possible. This lodge can be your vacation home for a few days, a week, or a month. Just come, park your boat, relax, and get ready for Amistad’s fantastic fishing.

The sunsets on the hill are spectactular. We encourage wildlife to come to the property. You can enjoy watching deer in the yard. Horses stop by the back fence for hay. Many species of birds arrive throughout the year, but the spring migratory birds are a joy to watch. The lodge provides sanctuary and respite for animals and humans alike.
